Delivery of a package usually refers to the process of delivering
a package from the sender to the recipient. This involves logistics
and distribution services and usually involves the following steps:
Placing an order: The sender places an order with a shipping
company or online shopping platform, filling in the relevant
information, including the recipient's address and the contents
of the package.
Packing: The sender packs the item securely to ensure that it will
not be damaged during transit.
Pick up or dispatch: The Courier goes to the sender's location to
pick up the package, or the sender delivers the package to the
designated shipping point.
Shipping: The package is sent to the recipient's location by various
modes of transportation (e.g. land, air).
Delivery: The Courier company will deliver the package to the
recipient's address and may require the recipient to sign for it.
Confirmation of delivery: The recipient acknowledges receipt of
the package and the shipping company updates the status to "Delivered".
